since aft the mid-sem break... life's been nth but journal articles.. and sourcing for more journal articles...

and every wk from now.. hv an assignment due.. oh man... and 2 wks from now i hvv 2 assignments due.. man this sem is a notch up in its difficulty level...

Yes yes, even though this week was supposed to be the mid-sem break... but it's not meant for me to rest on my laurels...it was a time to rush my assignmets, esp when i hv one due the mon that uni re-opens... and the wk aft, i have another assignment and another due the wk aft that...

So such for NOT resting on my laurels... hv not done any.. as in i have not written any of my assignments.. but i have been reading my articles.. oh well... today will be a better day!!!

Just to back track, since i've not blogged for a while.. Easter week was Fantastic... went for mass on Maunday Thursday, Good Friday, Dinner at Sean's on Holy Saturday and another Dinner at a restaurant with the Salt + Light group before young adult mass on Holy Sunday. Suppose to be eating healthy but hv not been...

Monday, 8 of us went on a 1-day road trip to Sunshine Coast. On the way, we went to Montville (at the top of the mountain...scenery was great!), than headed to the Ginger FActory and Macademia Nut Factory to buy things. The waffel and ice-cream at Ginger Factory was DA-BOMB!!!

After that, we headed to Noosa Heads, where the beach was... Soaked up the sun and played Articulate on teh beach.. b4 Sean, Lene and Myself went into the water... Played over and under...oh~~ i miss the BEACH!!! Need to go to the BEach more often but WINTER is Coming... :(

Anyway, so aft that... tues til now... been trying to find more relevant articles and read them..

Ytd's Interesting Grp Presentation

hahahha I had my first group presentation ytd...Finally that's over and done with!! I PRAY we do well... i SO pray that we SERIOUSLY do....

Anyway, our tut was at 11am.. so diane (1 of my grp mates) said to meet at 10.30am... so i tot.. well ok... since from where i live... the nearest bus stop from my place is kinda difficult to coincide with the bus timing to reach just in time... so i had to take a bus from a further bus stop..i was actually contemplating taking an earlier bus which wld come at 10.09am, which means i'll reach uni at approx. 10.20am..but i didn't. Took the bus aft that so i reached uni ard 10.35am... (It turned out to be a good decision.)

Anyway, when i reached the building where we were supposed to meet at 10.30am.. none of my team mates were there... esp the 3 (they were hse mates as well) whom lived within 10 mins walking distance from uni. It was alr 10.40am when i reached the building and none of them were there... Pissed off....They din reach til i think 10.50am. Sickening...but it was coz Diane's shoes were biting her... but hai.. still..

Then, we set up our ppt... everything was smooth until we started... the first slide.. and the com hanged!!! Thank goodness we had a backup laptop... phew.. hahhaa this first presentation was especially scary for me.. i have no idea for what reason.. but normally when i present, i wont shake so hard.. but this time rd, i was Literally shaking like a LEAF!!!! hahahah thinking back to ytd.. makes me laugh!! i was literally trembling.... had to hold my cue cards with both hands if not i wld not be able to read off my cards if i was just holding it w one hand.. it was THAT BAD, SERIOSULY!!!

It was Weird... dont know why either...

Overall, it was good. Just that i was pissed coz they said 10.30am.. and din come til like 10.50am.. i cld hv taken a later bus.

It's the 3rd wk and i'm feeling the stress... maybe coz i'm taking Yr 3 modules but i din really panic last sem, it was only in the mid of the sem did i start to panic......

As for the day leading up to the movie.. wahhaha had lec at 10am.. but i so din wanna wake up for lec... but by His Grace.. managed to literally pull myself outta bed to go....can u believe.. i set my alarm for 8am.. but snoozed til 8.30am whereby aft that i had no more option to snooze but to cancel the alarm.. and i continued to slp til 9.15!! lol Had approximately 15mins to wash up and head out to catch my bus... which i did!! managed to make it just in time...phew~~

so yeah... pulled myself thru Training & Development lec...then business policy & strategy lec..and then...thank goodness had 1 hr break b4 tut and my last lec for the day...well lunch sucked!!! had wonton soup... ok the wonton wasn't that bad but the soup was FREAKING salty!!! wont be surprised if i have high blood pressure!!! siao leh... worst soup ever... anyway.. wont be eating from that stall again... wasnt very pleasant...struggled thru lunch.. which was supposed to let me relax b4 another full on 3hrs......bleah.. ok... Boost was a lifesaver....

Was at ziyao's house for kbox sorta session earlier.

Although I haven't heard like 40% of those chinese songs before,

I really appreciate them asking what song I know how to sing repeatedly,

because I am only familiar with very few chinese songs. :)

And those chickens at the trains were really buggers. blasting techno songs, followed by the national anthem and techno songs again, siting down and blocking the train door like their young asses will rot if they stand for just a few more minutes.

Since being back in Bris... it's been raining non-stop.. ok yes it did stop for a bit.. it's more like.. 98% of the time it's raining.. haha Well~~~ it's excellent weather to stay home..but not when i hv to go uni...

Also i'm hving a sore throat... ulcer.. and my bones ache... hahhaha on slaught of a flu? i hope not? but with this wet wet wet wet wet weather.. things are unpredictable...

Today was the start of semester... 3 lectures... wow.. it was not too bad... but heaps of assignments to get started on.. and this sem i'm motivated to try to start them earlier.. on the brighter side.. i'll only hv 3 central exams to take since my 4th will be on the 11th wk.. funny... but i'm glad!!!!

oh wells, many things happened yesterday, it was a dramatic day seriously.

I almost did'nt want to club for some ultra stupid reason that left me thinking, and I still can't figure out. Its something I never figure out until something really obvious happens I guess. I hate the feeling of uncertainty, like something thats really has many alternatives.

I like it plain and simple, period. I don't like to think so much and at the end of the day, I can't even give myself a concrete conclusion. Its like WHATHEFUCK seriously.

Anyway, I'm really glad I went because it did relieve me of some stress, needed the blasting music seriously. It was a good and a bad night.

Good because we had fun tektoniking, and we were like the pro's of rebel, (act only lah) haha

Bad because its was so freaking crowded with guys like 80% were wolves waiting to launch you know. omg, thank god for petrina and cherry and the freaking stage.

I felt as if I was in a gay club.

Bad because Tingfong lost his wallet. Bastard lah seriously.! :(

And music was weird. Never heard most of the songs before, Im outdated already hah, but last part was awesome though.

And and and, The whole group of us witnessed some girl being touched by some bloody bangalah,some loserish idiot. The point was, she looked as if she was fine with the person molesting her. Flight was delayed for 45mins... coz some person decided to disembark as think s/he was suffering from some illnessand thus the ground crew had to offload his/her luggage as well.. hey hey... cny was awesome..!!! i loved it.. hahhaha managed to meet my relatives... and the best part is i get to eat traditional homecooked dishes.. this is what i feel so blessed... is that all my uncles and anuties will take the effort to prepare for CNY.. some will open their hse... and some will cook and each bring a plate....can really feel the love they put into cooking the food... and for every yr since i was born.... i've been blessed heaps... and continue to be blessed...

it's just the little things that ppl take for granted that counts...

and i think i've been taking for granted that uncles will open their place for reunion and chu yi, whereby all relatives will head over.. and also for uncles and aunties and mom to cook FANTASTIC and DELICIOUS dishes for all.....

I've been thinking what if next time we book a restaurant and hv our reunion dinner or take the easy way out and have steamboat....what does it mean? To me.. i wont love it one BIT!!! The whole experience wld be diff.. i mean.. yes, u get to eat good restaurant food... but u will lose the little things.. like just hving simple but delicious dishes which uncles and aunties had taken the time to wake up early to prepare...or just to hv a simple dinner and just laze ard at an uncle's place to chill and talk and play with relatives and cousins and watch tv...and we can stay til late without thinking abt the restaurant closing...

and steamboat.. man dont get me wrong.. i HEART steamboat.. and we too do, do steamboat.... but i think it is the lazy way out.. however, it is gd for small families.. ...

Also we went to one of my aunt's place which used to be my grandma's hse.. felt nostalgic... brought back childhood memories... love that place... grew up at Macpherson... miss the glutinous rice at the mkt just behind..... miss mama as well..

And this CNY, went Bernard's hse with the rest of rciy peeps...tried my hand in ban luck and dai dee... but i suck.. lost abt 30 bucks.. never again am i gg to gamble.. too risky... and since i'm not a risk taker...more of a logical and practical person.. it's not the first time i lost.. last cny as well and mj.. whahaha so it's just not my luck to gamble.. so yeah i shall refrain from further such activities...

Yesterday was fun! seeing my poly mates getting high/stoned was just (HAHAlostforwords) will never forget the main drink - disgusting (bailey and vodka and potato chip residued drink).

So I was at the bus stop at 945, and I saw a fellow lecture mate, so we intended to cab to school together. haha. lazy lah,so we waited till 3 buses passed us as we were lazy to walk from our stop till lecture theatre.and we reached lecture at 1030.power or not. but you know there's this guy who came in at 1045.haha like layping said : sense of achievement, haha at least I'm not the latest.

In a blink of an eye...1 mths plus has passed since i came back....
this past days hv not been v fruitful.. tho it has been enjoyable... meeting with old frens and bonding with others that weren't previously close...just chilling out at night..enjoying the sea breeze or bringing my frens shopping that 1 wk when they came....and also planning my uni timetable..

I shall count my blessings :)

oh cel, per sem i hv to take 4 courses... and this coming sem... i'm torn b/t taking a course that i'm interested in but frens say the lecturer is bias against Asians (& the thing is i'm not sure if the lecturer is also tutoring all the classes) or taking another course which lec is not bias but the course is heavy.. also need to plan with frens to take same tut...

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.... :) so many decisions. Esp future plans as well...

Today's a bz day.. meeting elaine for "lunner" (my own combi for lunch and dinner) at popeye AMK and than gg to have dinner with Xuan, Lyn and Sam at Timbre@ The Art House.
